I picked up these Reebok Club C 85 ELM Porcelain Pink a few days ago on a whim.
This is my first pair of these so I’m taking a chance. The C in Club C stands for Champion and the shoe is a renamed version of the Revenge Plus. Apparently, tennis dress codes used to favor minimalism which made the shoe popular when it originally released in 1985.
This retro is part of a “pastel pack” so softer colors are an easy look to pull off here. Some light colored denim and a grey or white top and you’re good to go. Pink also goes good with black, so a blackout fit can work as well with this shoe.
Thanks to Yeezy, old-school tennis kicks like these are currently hot. The Reebok Club C 85 provides a low barrier to entry with a very affordable retail price which seems to be discounted on most sites. If you want to get in on the retro tennis vibe with high-quality for the low, cop these.
How Are The Materials?
The Club C ELM sports the traditional makeup of a leather upper. These are labeled as a premium sneaker and they definitely deliver. Soft, buttery leather covers the sneaker – you can see the grain is real and not an added texture. The materials alone make me want to get more pairs!
How Do They Fit?
The Reebok Club C 85 ELM Porcelain Pink fit true to size. In fact, for my foot shape, these are one of the more perfect-fitting kicks I own right out of the box. They might look a little big on foot but they give just enough room so as not to squeeze uncomfortably. The insole is very cushy and these feel great!
